Travel Plans for a Two-day Big Apple Experience

The sophistication of Broadway, impressive buildings, iconic landmarks, and the bustling people of New York are just some of the attractions that lure people to the Big Apple. Tourists who would like to make the most out of their short visit need to plan and prioritize their tours. Here are some suggestions for a two-day New York Vacation.

The first order of business whenever one is travelling long distance is to make sure that all the travel documents like insurance, passports or ID, etc., are in order and travel arrangements have been booked and confirmed. It would also help if tourists can familiarize themselves with the transportation and routes in New York so they can easily find their way around the city. A Big Apple vacation can start by taking a flight to JFK International Airport, the main airport in the city, followed by an AirTrain ride from JFK to Beach Subway Station, then transfer to an A-Train to Manhattan where you can find great lodgings for your visit. Before starting your tour, drop by the main tourist office where one can get a New York pass that gives access to popular attractions in the city as well as discounts in some of their dining establishments.

A Breath Of Fresh Air Welcomes You At Halifax!

Although Montreal is a wonderful city, I love having my time in Halifax. I live in Montreal; and I am back from a three week vacation in Halifax. It’s not like I don’t love Montreal, but, 3 weeks in Halifax means doing a lot many things and simply taking it easy. Halifax’s weather is also classified as humid continental like that of the Montreal weather. The summers are humid, but life is much more fun in Halifax as it revolves around the sea.

So, if you’re planning to take a trip to Halifax, let me tell you, it’s going to be fun. Rich in culture and history, Halifax is best enjoyed on foot. Simply park your car, and walk into any museum, bar or restaurant to make the most of your time there. There’s breathtaking beauty and exciting events happening at every corner of the city. All you need to do is explore them as you walk around.

There’s more to the city than just the sea. Just go out and let the coastal energy guide you through the city. What better way to start exploring the city than visiting the Eastern Coast, an ideal destination for adventure freaks.

Let your tour begin with Peggy’s Cove. It’s the most authentic fishing village in Nova Scotia. Check out the very popular lighthouse; also visit the rugged, sea-sculpted, granite shores and have fun.

Las Vegas for the Less Adventurous…not!

It’s not unusual that hearsay, television shows and movies greatly influence how one perceives or sees things. Las Vegas is one of the many cities that has fallen victim to this. Sadly, misconceptions flared by the media have hindered many to book a trip to this fabulous city…which is as normal as your regular state; schools, playgrounds, parks, hospitals, and everything that makes every metropolitan function are available.

No, it’s not only gambling or eating all day or being vain when you visit Sin city – which admittedly, would be the reasons that it has been christened such. The city promises fun not limited to live casino games you play at online, buffets and shopping. There are many attractions that kids and kids at heart would both enjoy. If you ever find yourself bound to a trip to the Sin city, make sure that you have readied yourself for a list of cool events to engage in and things to do and see.

Islands in the US

There are many Islands in the US, both named and unnamed. It probably won’t be enough for a simple citizen like me to go hopping on each of them within this lifetime. One, it will cost a lot and yes, one needs all the time in their hands to visit each one of them. Lucky would be Charles A Veley and Bill Altaffer and some others who have traveled most of the world. I bet they have been to almost if not all the islands in the US.

US islands have become popular tourist destinations and most visited would be Hawaii, parts of California,  Texas, Florida, Washington, even San Francisco Bay and South Carolina.

The Palazzo, Las Vegas

Are you the type who enjoy online games, or RPGs, tactical games or perhaps farming or kingdom expansion? Or do you fancy a grand vacation, fun with friends or shopping and eating or playing for money? If you’re the former type then by all means enjoy being a homebuddy and be content with yourself, your computer and some food delivery too.

If you’re the latter, head to Las Vegas and have fun the way you always wanted. The Las Vegas Strip, an approximately 4.2-mile (6.8 km) stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard South in Clark County, Nevada, is where the happenings that you fancy mostly are.
