Escape the Cold Winter With a Cruise

Escape the Cold Winter With a Cruise

There’s a fairly good reason that Summer Nights from Grease has always been such a huge hit. Other than its catchy melody, the song reminds us of what we crave for the most- long and lazy summer days and nights. Sadly though, the world has to turn, and the seasons must change. Although we can’t really do any tweaking with this, we can somehow extend that luxurious pleasure and escape those cold winter nights. Yes, especially for one born in an archipelago of more than 7000 islands…the sea calling is so hard to resist.

The word “escape” connotes an almost sinful indulgence. And what better way to indulge than to go on a cruise? A great escape would be a 3-night or a whole week cruise to Spain, Portugal and Italy booked via http://www.cruisekings.co.uk. Instead of shoveling snow in your backyard, you’d get to bask in the warmth of the sun, as you fix your gaze on the vast ocean stretched out in front of you. A good book in your hand, piñacolada by the side, you’ll be the envy of your friends when you come back with a golden tan.

Going on a cruise to escape the cold winter will do you a lot of good. It will help pull you out of the rut you’re in, and rejuvenate you. Imagine you taking in the sights and sounds of the nightlife in Lisbon, or having some delectable gelato right smack in the heart of Italy. It’s a spirit and outlook makeover, if you may. When you come back after your cruise, you’ll be better prepared to take on the challenges of work – and shoveling snow.

You don’t have to be stuck in cold weather as you count the days until summer comes back around. Summoning the weather gods wouldn’t help either. Go ahead, go on that cruise and free yourself from the clutches of the cold winter. It sure beats the hell out of trying to sing like Olivia Newton-John!
