Seattle’s Space Needle reminds one of Vienna’s Danube tower – a rotating restaurant, a gift shop and an observation deck to view the cities’ skylines. When hubby came back he gave me this etched on crystal photo of the Space Needle, a good paperweight for my desk. Below is hubby’s drive by shot of the actual installation.

Holešovice, a railway and a metro station. One could take the tram and get just one station off or walk – it takes about 10 minutes or less. Since we arrived at night, the hotel has been lit beautifully, I… Read More »Plaza Hotel Alta
A week into hubby’s vacation I received a lovely postcard of the Craigdarroch Castle, it was in pink and really cute. I’ve collected a number of snow globes now and other items that I bought while on travel or visiting museums, palaces and other noted places in the city. It has been also the headquarters of mining companies and of many technologies such as software development, biotechnology, aerospace, video game development and animation studios.
